Blandford Farm Stand is Up & Running!

The Farm Stand, run by AmeriCorps VISTAs Kristen McPhee and Kelli Kopen with a group of five Grand Rapids area students, will be available on the Blandford Farm grounds Saturdays from 9 until 12.

Currently available at the Farm Stand are: Basil - Broccoli - Cabbage - Chard - Collards - Cut Flowers - Green Beans - Kale - Mustard Greens - Peppers -Turnips.

Coming soon: Beets - Carrots - Cucumbers - Eggplant - Garlic - Lima Beans - Melon - Okra - Onions - Ornamental Corn/Popcorn/Sweet Corn - Ornamental Kale - Potatoes - Pumpkins - Radishes - Summer Squash - Winter Squash - Sunflowers - Tomatoes

Harvest Festival is this Weekend!

October 4 & 5 marks the beginning of the fall season with Blandford's Harvest Festival! This year's festival will be filled with fall fun activities for people of all ages. Festivities will be on Saturday, October 4 from 10am-5pm and on Sunday, October 5 from 1pm-5pm. Admission for adults (18+) is $5, kids (4-17) $3, and kids ages 3 and under are free. With admission, you and your family can paint pumpkins, make scarecrows, watch and taste our cider press, watch folk dance, listen to live music, and watch local artisans make rope, soap and woodcarvings. Horse drawn wagon rides and pictures with a live wild bird of prey are available for $1 each.
